We offer consultancy services to companies and public institutions. Our team is constituted by two experts educated at PhD level. We are located close to Kiel, one of the major maritime centre of Germany.

The team
Dr. Olaf Duteil : ocean / climate / modelling . Olaf obtained a PhD in Environment and Oceanography both from the University of Paris, France, and Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2009. He is currently research scientist at GEOMAR, Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research Kiel (https://www.geomar.de/en/oduteil/). His areas of expertise are ocean modelling and numerical analyses. He founded “Duteil Environmental Numerics” in 2015.
Dr. Marlene Spinner : environment / statistics / data analysis. Marlene obtained a PhD in Biology from the University of Bonn, Germany in 2012. After working at the University of Kiel as research scientist, she specialized in “data science” at the University of Münster (https://weiterbildung.uni-muenster.de/zertifikatsstudiengaenge/data-science/). Combined with her strong statistical skills, it makes her a natural partner to analyze large environmental datasets.
